[Signing] Brunner to New Jersey

Recommended Posts

I don't know if that's really 'official', but probably will happen.

Raymond and Brunner could add 40 goals combined... They lost Kovy, but could be a scoring by committee team.

Clowe - Zajac - Elias

Brunner - Henrique - Ryder

Raymond - Loktionov - Bernier

Olesz - Josefson - Zubrus

Matteau, Carter,

With two all-star goalies, the Devs might not be too fracked.

If they sign Raymond too, that pretty much replaces Kovalchuk instantly. Replaces an 80 point player with two 40-50 point players. This is why Lou is the best GM in the league. He identifies his team's needs and addresses them almost instantly (unlike MG who waited the majority of a season to find us a 3C, and still hasn't).

I thought the devils would be screwed after losing both Parise and Kovalchuk, and having an aging Brodeur. I guess trading for Schneider, and signing Clowe, Ryder, Brunner and possibly Raymond is a pretty good reboot. Nice job Lou
