I can't speak for everybody, but the only thing emotionally worse than having some terrible act commited to someone you know, is not being able to take it out on the perpetrator or at least know that that they got their's.

I understand what you are trying to do. What you have to realize is not everyone is as evolved as you. Humans are violent by nature and a subject as awful and horrifying as this...you are bound to see some raw emotion.

The upside of the Canadian system is that the chances of getting caught for effectively dealing with this kind are low, and even if you did, the penalties would be low.
