higgyfan
who do I want to make the team? if only 1: schroeder. because he is the oldest, and the others don't make it this year they can still do so next year. but if he doesn't make it this year it's a waste of a draft pick. and the pool is thin... who do I think will make the team? if only 1: gaunce, only cause I've read MG talk him up - so they might give him an extended look. patrick188
Gaunce, sure. After watching his performance in the past development camp, he's really NHL ready.

Gonz
None of them unless they have an amazing camp. Realistically, if I am looking at our roster for next season as of now, I don't see any of Jensen, Gaunce, or Horvat making it simply because they need time to develop. There is no reason to throw them into the NHL as soon as possible. It would be better for the development of those three to have some time in the AHL first. As for Schroeder, he doesn't fit the bill as a checking 3rd/4th line centreman so I don't really see him fitting in our lineup either.
Gonz
I suppose Corrado would also be sloted in since he is a right handed d man and could make our defense an even left - right balance for each pairing, great stay at home d man allowing either Edler or Garrison ( depending on who he'll be paired up with) to pinch in and get shots in the slot. Wonder__Bread
It's funny to see how many of you have AV syndrome and don't want any of them to play in the NHL and would rather have them in junior. Patience is always good mainly when dealing with rookies but being patient with someone who is ready is just wasteful. I'm not saying all of our rookies are ready but a certain few (Jensen, Gaunce, Corrado, Tommernes) are ready to take that next step. Horvat and Shinkaruk look great right now as well but I'd have to see how they perform in camp against NHL talent to see where they're really at. I can honestly say for the first time in years that I'm excited for the beginning of the season cause I know for the first time in a while we'll have rookies actually competing for spots and they'll actually be given those spots if they earn them. Erikkson-really excited about him.Push Eddy for 2nd position. Tommernes-He is a very mature guy.Very calm with the puck, makes good decisions with the puck.He is an exciting guy for us and he will see some games this year. Erik Karlsson
Would like to see a few rookies make the team. I don't consider Kassian a rookie anymore. Sedin-Sedin-Kassian Booth-Kesler-Burrows Higgins-Gaunce/Schroeder-Hansen Blomstrand/Archibald-Richardson-Weise/Santorelli/Sestito Hamhuis-Bieksa Edler-Tanev Garrison-Corrado Luongo Lack/Eriksson Jensen might need another year in the AHL, didn't do too well last year. Hairy Kneel
Which ever show the most compete level or faceoff utility for our bottom lines, I like Gaunce and Lain, I like what I'm reading about this Blaine kid. Last year little Gallagher showed how heart can win you a spot like he did with the Habs.
Onions
I think we need to wait for training camp. But as of right now, I like Gaunce or Lain.
