theminister
His last deal was a steal so I wonder what the new number will be. I expect it will be close to Clarkson/Clowe.
NikiShiz
Good signing for the Kings...weren't they thinking of trading him the year they won the cup?
Lockhart
I would like to see him throw the hits he does without being constantly protected by the refs.
Kent.S
That's actually not a bad deal for a playoff performer like him. The length is a little long, But by the 6th-8th year, that'll be nothing with the new cap hit. Good signing I think.

ninja321
The length is a bit long but it's worth it for a player like that.

naslundfan921
These 7-8 year deals for guys in their late 20s are going to hurt going forward but that apparently is the new trend in the NHL
BabychStache
His style of game makes me question his long term ability, however he's earned every penny.

Rick Grimes
One of the few players that honestly deserves an extension like this; he's the heart and soul of that team; clutch player; hits everything that moves - and I think he'll find a way to be an effective NHLer for the Duration of his deal - and likely onward. Dilly Canuck
Good cap hit for both sides but the term seems kinda long. With the way Brown plays idk if he will be able to play at that high level throughout this contract.

taiwanchik
With this signing, the Kings are going to have problems filling up their roster with quality players. Next season, supposing the cap remains as is, they will have 56 Million committed to 13 players and not including whatever they give Kyle Clifford. They would only have 10 Million left to sign/re-sign 10 players including Willie Mitchell, Ben Scrivens, Matt Greene and more. I would have to think that someone's going to get dumped this upcoming season. Maybe Robin Regehr.
