Just to clear things up, the term "power forward" is very confusing and can be interpreted in many ways. Just so you know, back in the day, players like Lindros, Tocchet, Stevens, and Neely were all considered true powerforwards; Big players with the ability to hit, power their way onto the net, protect the puck well, be hard to move in front of the net, create space for linemates, willing to drop the mits, all while contributing offense.

Are players like Nash really like that? The guy needed Taylor Pyatt or Ryane Clowe on his line to create space for him.

"In ice hockey, power forward is a loosely applied characterization of a forward who is big and strong, equally capable of playing physically or scoring goals and would most likely have high totals in both points and penalties."
