Warhippy
One year later to the day and there it goes. Weber demands. We all knew they were coming and.....here's the first barrage. It seems Flyers Insiders and fans alike will be joining in this madness. Whether this qualifies as a rumor I'm not sure but, would anyone put it past Holmgren to try? http://www.section303.com/one-year-later-flyers-fans-continue-to-believe-shea-weber-will-be-traded-50911 Posted from a mobile device, sorry
Baka
Seems about as credible as the CDC proposal forums. Just a handful of random people with wishful thinking. No media outlets here in Philly even mentioned it (this is the first I heard of it). Though things change earlier this offseason Homer also implied that boat had sailed which is why they were inquiring about players like Streit and Yandle. If Weber became available I am sure every GM would at least call and see what the price was and if Shea would be willing to go there.
peaches5
the fact that Nashville turned down 4 first round picks and then paid him that monstrous salary / bonus means that's hes likely going no where unless Philly gives up the farm. I would say it would have to Voracek, L. & B. Schenn & Courturier or something along those lines before Nashville even considers it.
Alex Burrows 14
Is it possible? B Schenn, Voracek, L Schenn and a 1st for Weber? Nashville basically gets those players for free because they have jones to replace weber

Nuxfanabroad
I think Philly's package would be designed around Giroux(maybe his NTC starts after this season). Him, 2 Schenns & their 2014 first rounder, for example. Nashville has needed scoring up front, forever. This could set both teams up nicely. Coconuts
Given the price the Flyers would have to pay to snag Weber and his contract I think they're better off sticking with what they've got. Fans will be fans though.

Alex Burrows 14
If I were NASH I would do it just for B. Schenn, Couturier and a first. No player except Crosby is worth that bloated, ridiculous contract.
Alex Burrows 14
No way Philly even considers that. Voracek is a future beast, as is B. Schenn. Luke makes some mistakes but is still young. Can't write him off like that. On the other hand, Nashville does it anyday of the week.
Avicii
Philly wouldn't give up both schenn and couturier. One or the other and they would trade schenn way before couturier

Drouin
Well we have to remember Holmgren isn't that smart. And that's what it would take to get weber
