TheRussianRocket.
Good on Philly to extend him, and as long as the price is right, this can only be a win. Couturier is a beast...hopefully he develops to his full potential.

theminister
That's just a phenomenal cap hit for a player like him in this day and age.
Jakub Voracek
Awesome deal the cap hit is great. Very happy the flyers didn't trade him.
bigpush
Wow, good deal for Philly. Hope Gillis uses this to his advantage with Schroeder because if Couturier is worth AAV of 1.75, Schroeder would clock in 1 mil +/- 100k IMO.
Warhippy
Looking at that and knowing that's all the Flyers could honestly afford moving forward. I like this kid even more as he could have gotten paid a minimum of $4 million AAV or better on the open market That's called taking a bridge contract discount. And that's what is missing in so many good players these days.

Nuxfanabroad
Frankly my dear, I'd suggest someone finds a bagga'loot(in the mtns), while out on a training-hike. Snider's finally getting wise, & keeping things off the books.

UFCanuck
Fair price. Couturier wasn't as good last season as he was in his rookie campaign. He needs to get better and a 2 year bridge contract will add incentive.
