canucks#01fan
The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed a pair of restricted free agents, defenseman Blake Parlett and forward Spencer Machacek, to one-year, two-way contracts. No financial terms were disclosed. Parlett, 24, was acquired from the New York Rangers along with Marian Gaborik and Steven Delisle on April 3, 2013, in exchange for Derek Dorsett, Derick Brassard and John Moore. In 76 combined games with the American Hockey League's Connecticut Whale and Springfield Falcons last season, Parlett scored eight goals and finished with 32 points and 93 penalty minutes. He has 14 goals and 58 points in 155 AHL games. Machacek was acquired from the Winnipeg Jets on March 10, 2013, in exchange for forward Tomas Kubalik. Chosen in the third round (No. 67) by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2007 NHL Draft, Machacek had two goals and nine points in 25 NHL games, all with the Jets/Thrashers franchise. The 24-year-old right wing has 98 goals and 239 points in 359 AHL games and played in the 2011 AHL All-Star Game. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=678542

Hobble
Had high hopes for him as a Jets after his great effort at the end of the 11-12 season, but apparently he didn't try very much on the IceCaps to warrant a call-up last season.
