Torts will simply have two pairs to "overplay". (They'll both likely see over 22minutes). Alberts/Tanev will see less time and lesser competition, as it should be. Tanev is not going to displace Garrison (arguably our best d-man by the end of last season) out of the top 4 barring trade/injury. It's simply not happening. Visp Posted July 23, 2013 Share Posted July 23, 2013 Having watched him play for years, I would say don't count out Weber to get decent minutes. Probably not top 4 but IMO he possibily has the second or third best shot in the D group (behind Garrison, Edler) and is a powerplay specialist.
