and Mike Santorelli makes the roster as an extra forward rounding out the forward spots. Jordan Schroeder somewhat surprisingly didn't make CDC's team.

Moving on to the defence. For those that missed the earlier polls, this poll one of a series of polls to determine who CDC thinks should play where within the Canucks lineup given our current roster. I believe, most of the time we should run 3 good pairs

Hammer Bieksa

Edler Tanev

Garrison Corrado

Keeping them balanced except when special teams are involved and then boosting the minutes of our strongest guys.

PP Edler and Garrison

PK hammer Bieksa

From Torts history, he overplays one pirs more than others.

Hamhuis, Bieksa

Edler, Garrison

That'll be our top 4 IMO. if Eddie/Garry are having a better game they'll promoted to "1st pairing". Torts will simply have two pairs to "overplay". (They'll both likely see over 22minutes). Alberts/Tanev will see less time and lesser competition, as it should be.

Tanev is not going to displace Garrison (arguably our best d-man by the end of last season) out of the top 4 barring trade/injury. It's simply not happening.

Having watched him play for years, I would say don't count out Weber to get decent minutes. Probably not top 4 but IMO he possibily has the second or third best shot in the D group (behind Garrison, Edler) and is a powerplay specialist. I hope he's given a chance (through injuries) and gets to showcase his ability for a longer deal!
