Also I love how all the speed limits are like 10 higher than the mainland. Also the island is very beautiful as well as the mainland. I like the island for vacation and the mainland as home. But I think once I had some real money I would consider the island as one of my options to settle down. I'm only 17 so I guess I'm thinking a bit too far ahead haha. Link to comment

etsen3 Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 I pick Vancouver. The island is beautiful and the people seem friendlier, but overall it seems kind of small/boring/claustrophobic. Vancouver has so many things that Victoria doesn't plus everything is much closer and more accessible. Even if you don't like the big city, you can live in a rural area and still have everything Vancouver has to offer within a 45 minute drive. Plus: Cot dam, dem mountains. Link to comment
