HC Lev Praha has made a big free-agent signing, landing 28-year-old Ukrainian winger Nikolay Zherdev. The veteran of 436 NHL games, mostly with the Columbus Blue Jackets, has played most of the last three seasons with Atlant Moscow Oblast. Last season, he recorded 51 points in 68 games, split between Atlant and Ak Bars Kazan, and was a big factor in Ak Bars´s run to the Eastern Conference Final. With Lev, he will wear number 93. canucklehead44 Posted July 26, 2013 Share Posted July 26, 2013 Zherdev has a lot of skill, and his numbers are pretty good considering the teams he played for. He was second on Columbus in goals 2/4 seasons, lead the Rangers in scoring, and seven scored at a 20+ goal pace on the flyers playing less than 13 minutes.
