Fraser is a big body d man that makes life hell for everyone else, and his +/- was really good this year. He plays a similar role on the Leafs as Tanev does here. canucklax Posted July 29, 2013 Share Posted July 29, 2013 Well the whole point of arbitration is to find the middle ground of the negotiation between player and club. Fraser sets his demands at the top end of what he'd get in an open market, and the team sends in a lowball. Arbitrator finds the point in between where the deal can be made. fraser knows he's not getting 2 mil, but it hopefully helps him get a better salary from his viewpoint.
