I'm guessing DET would want to keep at least 1 of those bottom-six forwards or take one back (Weise?). Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Burrows - Kesler - Booth Higgins - Helm - Hansen Abdelkader - Richardson - Tootoo Sestito Even though it's a very weird looking deal, the Canucks forwards would be pretty deep.. I mean Abdelkader had 10 goals in 48 games last season. Tootoo could probably put up 20+ on a team like that... Helm of course is a bit of a wild card, since he didn't play much at all last year (1 game), but has proven he can be a speedy, gritty 2-way 25 point 3C. Hamhuis - Bieksa Smith - Garrison Whitney - Tanev Weber Not a bad defense, esp. if Ryan Whitney continues to get back to where he was circa 2009. Even last year he paced for 32 points. Factor in Gaunce/Schroeder/Horvat and you have 3 guys battling for 2 spots over the next several years. Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Booth - Kesler - Burrows Higgins - Schroeder - Hansen Richardson - Santorelli - Weise Your plan makes gaunce/schroeder/horvat/shinkaruk/santorelli obsolete.
