-Vintage Canuck-
@TheFourthPeriod 1h Defenseman Chris Campoli has signed a 1-yr deal with HC Lugano of the Swiss League. He's scheduled to head over there in early-August. “Campoli trying to clear it BURROWS SHOOTS, SCOOOOORES!” "They've slayed the dragon!"

TACIC
He was a casualty of the lockout. Got let go by Montreal but probably would have got a tryout with a team then the lockout happened. He was one of the big shots while negotiating for Donald Fehr despite not having a job ad when the season started no one offered him anything. Sad story for him
Darth Kane
His problem started when he asked for too much money from the Blackhawks after the 2010-2011 season. Despite his error in game 7 against the Canucks he had the opporttunity to return. But he wanted to be paid like a 2nd pairing defenseman and Chicago wanted to pay him like a 3rd pairing defenseman. Had he accepted the Blackhawks deal he likely would still be playing in the NHL today. Although I can't really complain too much because we (Chicago) ended up replacing Campoli with Oduya and he's been waaaaaay better.
