Well to be fair, Bieksa got in two solid uppercuts on him (Makaveli please repost that vid) that game with Kassian manhandling Seabrook on the side.

Also in the first game this season, Henrik got a hit on him and Volpatti, Lapierre, and even Malhotra were after Keith the whole game... He was just too fast for them

The Sedins aren't meant to fight but they should at least stand up for themselves and not get pushed and punched around. That's why I like the idea of Kassian with the Sedins especially when you have Torts now who is great working with young players.

No, why would they if they aren't any good at it? In case you didn't notice they were more physical last year, particularly in the playoffs. Guess that didn't help them as much as the points they were getting.

When you are getting punched in the face by a player who you know isn't going to get a penalty for it... You stand up for yourself... You inspire your team to do to the same... Do you go "ow ow ow ow REFS ow ow ow RREEEEEEEEFS" Just because you're a Sedin doesn't mean you don't fight for yourself... Crosby has fought, Ovie has fought, Lemieux has fought... Hell even Marchand fights...

i grew up in an era where players stuck up for their stars. would hop the bench if they had to. suspension or not... if someone was hit with a questionable hit, the closest player would drop his gloves, whether he was a superstar or not ,and whether he would win or lose the fight. the team policed itself and protected every player down the roster.

if something like sedin / marchand event happened , marchand would of had to answer the bell. not take out another star player the very next game. and have our toughest player at the time chicken out to their toughest player . like what happend. and never ever would a player go on national live tv and say "Our powerplay is our enforcer"

Yeah,they were known as fighters.

Ever see Bure fight?

Ever see Linden fight?

They are two of the greatest players this team has ever seen.

How about Mogilny or Larionov or Lumme or Reinhart or all the greats whom are known to lead with their talent, heart and brains?
