J529
If the foot was on the other show and the comment was made towards said person, do you think they would not complain about it? Seen on TV, countless times of stories about racist. It's ignorant and easy to say get over it. If you were a victim of racist, would you be saying the same thing? Sure. Some people can be idiots and say stupid things, but they should be held be accountable and not allowed to get away with it because they will do it again. J529
I think it's going to escalate, especially after this recent incident. Alot of dislike between the two parties. This isn't a workplace situation. As I stated, it's a real life situation.

J529
If you're worried about it escalating to violence, talk to the local police. Don't dial 911 or anything, but get in contact with them through whatever non emergency medium they have. I doubt theres much they can do unless something has actually happened though

MANGO
next time you see him/her, set up a sting. Bait the person and get your friend to shoot it on his/her phone, from a distance. Generally people like this are there own worst enemy. Use it against them and win!
Gustavo Fring
Honestly, it's probably not worth pursuing. But people should be held accountable for their actions and what they say.

TheAntar
There's nothing you can do. There is no "racism authority" and it isn't against the law to feel, and even express, racist or discriminatory beliefs in our country. Thankfully ... You can't be thrown in jail for a belief or thought. When the person steps over the line to letting hate dictate an act of violence or some such then you have a 'next move'. As of right now, suck it up. Or use the power of social media to retaliate. That seems to be a solution du jour these days as well.
etsen3
If it's just a racist comment, there's not much you can do about it. I believe it's only illegal if they are making violent threats or spewing hate propaganda. So I would just treat it like any person using insults or talking crap. I would only contact police if you think violence will come out of it.
