SamJamIam Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 I'm liking how similar Shinkaruk's scouting report is to Parise early on. Even their flaws early on were similar. "Needs to bulk up" "Doesn't have high end breakaway speed" "work away from the puck needs improvement". I guess you could say that about alot of prospects though. Both are tenacious on the puck and willing to go to the tough areas to get it. Parise was listed at 5'11" and 186 lbs after he was drafted so there's no doubt Shinkaruk has some work to do.
