4everacanuck13
Emerson etem and shinkaruk had one of the best chemistry while they were playing in the hat tigers. They combined for 200+ goals. I would say they try to get him. Emerson etem is a proven playmaker and shinkaruk is a sniper. Correct me if I'm wrong
Peaches
I doubt the Ducks give him up. Edit: And I'm pretty sure Etem is a sniper, but I could also be wrong.
Ossi Vaananen
Thing is Etem made a pretty strong Anaheim team out of camp, I'd imagine they're pretty high up on him. I think Etem was more dependant on Shinkaruk tbh.
Ossi Vaananen
There is of course the politics of ducks taking one of the few Californian born NHL players.
DeNiro
The only chance we had at him was in 2010 before we traded our first round pick. He has too much value to Anaheim now for them to trade him.
Warhippy
Love to for the same reason I wanted Duchene we picking Hodgson. But the asking price would be at least Edler esque, not willing for a simple prospect. Although....with Silvfberg there now there's every chance with the pick up from Ottawa in the Ryan trade he could be had for much less.

insomniac604
I'd rather keep Shinkaruk. He's young and can still grow, but being that talented and small will give him a little bit of a chip on his shoulder. That and being passed over in the draft. I think he'll play for us with a lot of heart and has a lot he wants to prove.

insomniac604
? This is about getting someone to play with Shinkaruk not trading him away.
Drouin
It'd take more than just Hunter, so no

Drouin
I think what the OP is trying to say is what would it take to get Etem so we would have both him and Shinkaruk.
kanucks25
Would take overpayment and the Canucks aren't very rich when it comes to tradable assets, so we aren't in a position to overpay.
