King Heffy
He can very easily step his game up and impress more than Gaunce, Schroeder, Horvat and Santorelli.

PavelsElbow
How did he not really get a chance... He played plenty last season and other than his first shift, he did nothing. He didnt hit and he didnt fight. I dont see why everyone is so butt hurt over losing him. There are plenty of players like him that we have or that we could sign. He was the definition of a plug. Pears
How so? Servicable player to have. You should be thankful you had Ebbett filling in on the injuries. He didn't make mistakes and did his job. Is he flashy? No, but he gets the job done. Tired of this Ebbett/Rome hate
мeтpо
You can't be serious. Ebbett is the definition of a plug and the only league he should be playing in is the AHL. The only reason Rome got hate was because AV played him over Ballard. Other than that he was a solid 6th-7th defenseman for what he brought to the table. Industrious1
Seemed like a character guy but overall he obviously isn't a big loss. Not sure why this guy was hyped so much when we signed him though...oh well. Hopefully he does well in Florida.
EternalCanuckFan
He had a few good shifts when he was with the Canucks but wasn't able to bring that consistently. Also was unable to bring his AHL production to the NHL. Good depth guy for the Panthers (considering he can play center or wing) but not a big loss. It's too bad - he looked like he could have been good. The Canucks even re-signed him after he lost a whole season to injury.
TOMapleLaughs
$125k AHL cap hit. A $150k paycut from last season. We always seem to pick up these project guys who are going through career-altering injuries. Not that this guy was ever a rock. Meanwhile, Volpatti did not get a 2-way deal. His is 1-way, 2yrs, $575k per. Good for him.
