kanucks25
Schroeder's value probably isn't high enough to garner a 1st round pick at this time. We need to see if he can be the 3rd line center answer, anyway. Otherwise we'll be left with a gaping hole down the middle.
CanucksFanMike
The Islanders just signed Regin one month ago today so why would they trade him?

Drouin
I'd keep Schroeder, he'd come in handy. He might actually get the 3C spot and surprise some of you.
Nuxfanabroad
Best to make it a 2015 first rounder; we could use McDavid.

Pears
What exactly were you thinking when making this proposal? We want to get younger, trading Schroeder for Regin makes us 10+ years older. Pass.
Nuxfanabroad
LOL have u been living under a rock? The Isles will be contending for the metropolitain division in 2015, not contending for McDavid. The Islanders are on the way up, not the way down. In fact, I hate to say it, but by 2015 I would think we would have a better chance of landing McDavid with our first round pick rather than theirs. CanucksFanMike
Probably the last I watched them closely, was when Billy Smith was weed-whackin' in a frenzy..My comment was meant to reflect the unlikelihood of Schray for anyone's 1st. I agree the NYI's are finally headed the right way-Tavares is really something special. Also noticed Garth Snow's reluctance to do anything significant/dramatic. Seems like Wanger hasn't bought him a telephone yet. Certainly more resemblance to a gm like McPhee, than a Holmgren.
Nuxfanabroad
Fair enough.... Your comment sounded like you were taking a shot at the isles. That would have been fair a year ago, but they turned a lot of heads this year and can only get better from here.
