pimpcurtly
A counter to NikiShiz' concert thread. I got dragged to an Alanis Morrisette concert a few years ago by my girlfriend. She didn't really seem to care and her voice was destroyed.
BananaMash
Well, I guess it doesn't really count since the worst band I've ever seen live was opening for Motley Crue, so I wasn't actually there to see them. The Joe Perry Project is by far the worst band I've ever seen live in my life. No one was up out of their seats, the other opening band (Airborne) had everyone up out of their seats, and then JPP came out and completely killed the energy. Joe Perry kept messing up on the guitar, and the lead singer couldn't hold a note to save his life. 0/10 band.
The Bookie
Cheap Trick. Pretty much just a two-hour non-stop unintelligible guitar solo.
Psylocke
Marianas Trench. It was during the Olympics and it was free. Went with a bunch of friends. They liked it; I wanted to kill myself after the first song.

hudson bay rules
U2 at BC Place maybe 15-20 years ago. Great band but terrible echos.
:D
Soulfly a couple months back. Was looking forward to it for so long but the sound setup of The Venue was SO BAD that an already thick, rough tribal sound degraded into slop.
The Bookie
Actually I want to change my vote. Cheap Trick probably were pretty good for people who like their music, I just don\t, and it was an outdoor concert in like 40deg. heat and I smoked too much fun stuff and pretty much just lay on the grass in guitar solo hell. Anyhow I'll change it to James Brown. I saw him at a festival in Tennessee just a couple years before his death. James could barely stand up and seemed confused to where he was. He would basically come out and make some grunting noises for a few minutes, then he'd be helped backstage and his band would kill time playing instrumentals for awhile until he returned. More or less cycled like that for an hour and a half. Granted his band was ridiculously tight, but overall it was just a very sad spectacle. Papayas
From my past experience, almost, if not all, concerts that happened in the gm/bc place, are all just a dumb down version of their usa/(or insert any country) concert. Honestly gm place has some of the worst stage/equipment I have seen

nuckin_futz
This is the worst show I have ever been to. http://youtu.be/v0q-xcoq0Eg Wasn't due to the band being terrible but other factors. Some idiot was chucking coins at the stage. So they stopped the show a few songs in and said if one more coin was tossed they we're leaving. Sure enough the idiot kept on chucking coins and true to their word they left and didn't come back. Seen them in Vancouver twice since and both times they thanked the audience for not chucking coins. TOMapleLaughs
Knopfler/Dylan Mark played no Dire Straights at all and focused on his new celtic crap. Hey, if you like that, good for you, but c'mon, not one old hit? Booooo... Bob was indecipherable throughout and butchered all of his songs, if you could manage to recognize them. RonMexico
Radiohead at T-Bird stadium. I think they just thought it was a rehersal or something. They did nothing to engage the crowd at all. I'm not even sure they knew where they were. Then again, maybe i'm just not enough of a fan but I know a good time and they were terrible.
BananaMash
Were they the one with that Kitty song? I went to a Motley Crue Concert and I'm pretty certain Airborne opened and then this crapty band came up and was talking about his cat. If I want to listen/see crap about cats I'll go on Reddit. I would also give that band 0/10.
