TheRussianRocket.
Just wanted to ask if any of you know where Booth is with his physical conditioning/health. If I'm right, word was he couldn't be bought out this summer because he was injured. If that's true, has he recovered from his injury(s) yet or no and what is it that's injured? Wondering because I was reading the 30 in 30 Canucks article about our new team - http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=679520 - and when I read the part about Torts playing youngsters and lineup talk, just came to hit me that Booth may not be healthy come start of the season which might mean more chances of Horvat/Shinkaruk getting a shot to play a few games in the big league. "One of the reasons that [Tortorella] was so appealing for me as a head coach is young players have thrived in New York," Gillis said. "And we need to have young players in our lineup. Now whether Bo's ready, we'll find out."
The Bookie
I think he should be good. If I remember correctly, he was hoping to play if we had made it to the 3rd Round, which would have been in June. Plus he was tweeting weeks back about doing some hiking. I think the 'can't be bought out due to injury' thing was more of a technicality, because the season ended with him injured, he technically stays injured until he has a medical at training camp. But that's just an assumption of might anyone can feel free to correct me on how off-season injury status works.
rawkdrummer
I sure hope that he finally makes an impact. 25 goals this season would be nice!
shinkaruk98
He's had plenty enough time to prepare, which in turn means yes, he will be ready.
Ghostsof1915
Has there even been a status update to his injury that's been officially announced?
Warhippy
I would just love to see Booth come in and tear up multiple lines with Kesler or Santorelli. 30 goals and a hitting machine to silence everyone but We will find out quite a bit about this team by or around September 5th so let's just enjoy the last 3 weeks of summer. -Vintage Canuck-
Hopefully. I think there are many people who have already gave up on him but I still think he can reform to the player he was in Florida. When we first acquired him he was doing pretty well here before Kevin Porter kneed him. Since he hasn't played a lot in the past year, 15-20 goals would be nice from him. CanucksSayEh
I really hope so, he seems to play with a spark whenever he returns from injury. It doesn't always translate to the score sheet, but he is a very noticeable player on the ice, in a good way. I just want to see him truck stick some fools. Best hitter on the team, not really close either.

AFrame14
I have lost faith that booth can stay healthy for a full season or even play 65 games.. He's prolly Been hunting all summer again and hasn't skated In months. I hope learned better from last season when he was hurt on the first Drill. Snake Doctor
David Booth and Keith Ballard will long be remembered as Gillis's biggest mistakes. I'd rather see some youth in the line-up than a soft wanabe power forward. Booth should get some pointers from Kassian on how to be a power forward in the NHL.
