4everacanuck13
We have now a lot of good prospects now, I want to know what you guys think. Who should it be? And theres one guy I want to see in the AHL next year, Cole Cassels.
-Vintage Canuck-
Am I the only one who feels Horvat is more ready for the NHL than Gaunce is?
Alchemy Time
If Schreoder still counts as a prospect, then I say he deserves it.

CanucksSayEh
Schroeder for both questions. I don't see any of our C prospects making the show out of age order.

CANUCK-EXPRESS
Gaunce is the most ready but I would like him at AHL next year and give 3C to Schroeder.

Rollieo Del Fuego
my prediction; Horvat gets 3 points tomorrow and the speculation heats up for all three (Gaunce and Shinkaruk) to make the Canucks. None do but all three lead Team Canada to a gold and help us win the cup in the spring. said it.

Lancaster
In terms of maturity and development, probably Niklas Jensen. Just there isn't really too many slots open for wingers. Mallet might have the best shot, considering the 4th line has room and he was drafted as an NHL-ready role player.
Jetliner
most deserving = shroeder, most likely = gaunce
Cyril Sneer
Schooools out for summa how many spawns/ mutations of this thread are there? I'm going to say 47 Lets start a pole. And also, lets rush Bo Horvat into the NHL cause he doesn't have enough pressure as it is. And ya, lets force Shredder into a 3rd line checking centre role. I'm sure his face off % will be even better coming off shoulder surgery. Can't wait for that. Lets rush Gaunce in because we have no other option and he is the biggest, super good strategy
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
So it's already been covered twice that Cassels can't play in the AHL in 2013-14. However, I was thinking that the OP might be interested in the actual reason why this is the case and might also want to know when Cassels will be able to play in the AHL. Contrary to popular belief, it isn't because of AHL rules. The AHL is happy to take any player with sufficient talent who's over the age of 18. The issue is the NHL/CHL Agreement. Basically, the agreement states that any "player with junior eligibility signed by an NHL team must be returned to his junior team if he's not playing in the NHL." Specifically, the rule says that if a player played in junior before they were drafted by the NHL, then they have to either be 20 years old by Dec. 31 OR have played four years of junior in order to play in the minors . That second condition rarely comes into effect. It would only apply to players who began in the CHL at age 15.

Plum
We could put any of Horvat, Gaunce, Shinkaruk. Put them in before their 1 year of their ELC contract runs out and see which ones deserve it. I believe Gaunce for 3 line center
5Fivehole0
Corrado will make the line up with out a doubt in my mind. That kid was a steal at 150th over all. I could see Jensen or Schroeder in the line up as well... The thing is... With out young guns in the line up.. We don't have a line up worth icing. amitriptyline
I'd really like to see what a line of Jensen, Gaunce and Kennins could do if given some NHL game action.
