SamJamIam
I question the free pass everyone is giving Jensen. Yeah, he played against men last year but his AHL time was basically a waste. It wasn't necessarily his fault, Arniel and the Wolves are a cancer on any young player's career, but he still has to show that he can get it done in Utica. Then he'll get some ice time mid-way through the season. As far as who is most deserving, Schroeder is the answer. There isn't anyone close to him in terms of showing an NHL-quality game. But we've got absolute crap-loads just behind him that are all scrambling for roster spots in 1-3 years.
Henrik Kesler
Has to be Schroeder. 9 points in 31 games last year playing the majority of his time with less than skilled players. I think he'll be a solid addition this year.
Absent Canuck
Am I the only one who feels Horvat is more ready for the NHL than Gaunce is?
Off_The_Schneid!
Schroeder had a 1 way contract so it's pretty obvious he's playing especially because of his low cap hit
