Most likely to get traded in upcoming years; Sedins or Kesler?

Let's make a scenario where we trade them now, what would they fetch?

Both Sedins - top 3 player + 2 first round picks (or 1st round pick + top 6 prospect)

Kesler - 1st round pick + top 6 prospect

At least that's how i envision it to be. Now, fast forward 2-3 years. It really depends on how well they still play. Some players don't age their skills very well and decline dramatically.

Do think that if we do horrible this season and we are waya out of the playoffs come trade deadline do you think we can trade the Sedins to a stacked team so they can fulfill their dream of winning a cup then they sign back with us at the end of the season? Then we would have a gigantic return and get the Sedins back for the next season. Is a player allowed to do that?

It would have to be Ryan. If we traded the Sedins I would be at this deadline as we suck and have no hope of making the playoffs.

For a healthy Kesler we could get 3 first round picks for him. Two top ten picks or Three mid round firsts . He is a talent that a team gets once a generation , if that. In our case we have never had a Kesler in our 40 year history. Most teams have never had a 40 goal scoring Selke winner either.

I would far rather hang onto Ryan than trade him but his return would set us up nicely for years.

Kesler simply because the Sedins won't be traded and if this team does go into a rebuilding phase im not sure how long he'd want to stick around with him getting up there in age. The logistics of a Sedin trade would be very difficult in the first place and its appears both the team and the players want to finish up their NHL careers here.
