Erik Karlsson
Ovechkin and Green were deff on it when they were having those huge seasons. I'm sure there are lots of others too.

-Stammer-
What happens to the players that have been using? Does it really matter? What's done is done... They should start out with the young guns now entering the league. Keep them from that crap.
Baka
If baseball is any indication a lot of players you would never suspect could be using a form of HGH. A lot of hockey players are as big as most baseball players and a lot of baseball players who tested positive for HGH were in fact smaller than many average hockey players. Even the Sedin's are bigger and bulkier than some of the players on the HGH lists. So we really may see some very random names pop up if the NHL makes an effort to actually strongly enforce it. Anti-Bettman
I think Lapierre has used it. He put on ALOT of muscle just over the lockout last year... like a freakish amount. I think it was reported that he gained around 20lbs of muscle.

ilduce39
HGH is more for recovery than to add bulk from what I understand. Also, they've got PED's down to a (literal) science both in how much, how often and how you train when you take them - not like your average juice head at Gold's Gym whose got 22 inch pipes and 8 inch calves. If people in cycling are doping, you can bet most players in the NHL are getting every advantage they can get.

Henrik Kesler
Well it's definetly possible to put that much more muscle on. Lappy had what, 9 months or so if he started around mid-late May? Plenty of time.
DownUndaCanuck
Would not be surprised if the entire Kings and Bruin teams were on something during their Cup runs. They looked possessed out there at times, and not just one or two players but the entire team. Either drugs or very very good coaching.
Edlerberry
No, it isn't possible to put that much muscle on in 9 months without some serious hormonal help, and even if he were on PEDs, 20lbs in 9 months is a bit unrealistic. Could Lappy gain 20 "good pounds?" Yes but even then half of it would be fat, 1/3 would be water, and the rest muscle. 20lbs of muscle gain (excluding fat gain) would take 11-12 months...and only N00Bs get that rate of muscle gain in 12 months anyway, and Lappy certainly wasn't a N00B to the weights. So no, Lappy surely did NOT gain 20lbs of muscle and stay clean.
poetica
especially after last year it may be a possibility. I'd lol if the Sedins did :/ Doubt Kesler does that stuff, maybe Kassian lol. Jk.
