Daniel 33

Burrows 31

Kesler 28

Booth 24

Hansen 20

Kassian 19

Garrison 18

Higgins 18

Henrik 14

Edler 12

Schroeder 12

Bieksa 11

Hamhius 10

I think a few guys will make it close to the 20 goal scorer record, but not quite, however, the 10 goal mark will be surpassed...

Btw, nice thread theminister...

I just went with the guys who will likely be on our opening night roster.

Obviously someone will get hurt and not play the full year, so they will get less goals than people hoped, and obviously we'll have some call-ups that might chip in some goals.

That's 250 goals by just 13 guys on our roster...

It seems almost everyone believes the Canucks will have at least ten 10 goal scoters this year with many predicting we will have 11or more. This means to me that CDC believes this is one of the more balanced rosters we have had in awhile. I agree.

My prediction

Daniel 36

Kesler 29

Burrows 24

Booth 20

Hansen 17

Kassian 16

Higgins 15

Henrik 15

Schroeder 14

Garrison 14

Edler 11

Richardson 10

Bieksa 10

Yeah, I know. Fasten your seatbelts.

Anyhow, they're not all likely to remain healthy, but in 82 game seasons, that's what I'm optimistic that roster could score (unless they collapse and defend the 0-1 deficit, that is... )

Last three full seasons the Canucks scored 249, 262, and 272.

Something in the wheelhouse of the latter two seasons.

Richardson 8

Tanev 4

Corrado 4

Sprinkle in a few depth goals...

I think the constant attack will be a big key this year. Torts will not change his game plan based on the score.

I expect a few more insurance goals this year. That alone could be worth an extra 40-50 goals.

It's hard to quantify with this team since we have seen them play that way in a decade.

10: J.Shro - Booth - Eddy - Garrison - Weise - Bieksa

20: Hank - Dank - Burr - Kes - Higgy - Hansen - Lui (breaks gretzkys records)

Weise with 10+ would be a beauty. Hope shro can too.

Higgy and Hansen I want big years from 20+!!!

I can't decide if kassian should be 10-19 or 20+.... I sure hope he's 20+ but no idea. Hopefully he trained hard this off season

not to mention 4 different defenseman with 10 or more goals. when was the last time THAT happened in the nhl?

There would have been three this year in an 82 game season

Garrison and Edler with 8 this year in 47 games, Bieksa with 6 in 36... the longshot is obviously Hammer, but he had 6 in 64 a couple years ago and has steadily been upping his offensive production - I don't think 10 goals for Hamhius is unbelievable.

The Canucks have had the potential for years running...Ehrhoff, Edler, Salo and Bieksa...were all also capable if they'd ever played a healthy season together...

Question for you and Jager...

which ones do you think are unrealistic?

But then again, we have a damn good d core. People here seem to forget just how lucky we are to have a top 4 that is Hammer, Bieksa, Garrison and Edler. And look at those guys, who isn't going to get 10+ goals? Hammer maybe, but he'll be close. Garrison will destroy the 20 mark if he has PP time, Edler will be well in the 10s, and Bieksa should hit 10 because of his deployment and right shot.

edit: damn Oldnews beat me to it :P

It was actually 2.54.

127 (our goals for according to NHL.com) / 48 (the amount of games we played) = 2.65 (rounding up)

None are overly unrealistic, but a lot of players (Burr, Garrison, Booth, Hansen, Kassian, Hamhuis, Bieksa) would have to have one of, or the very, best season of their careers.
