[Proposal] VAN - TOR. VAN - DAL

Plum

Recommended Posts

To VAN: Fransen, Kulemin, Liles, Biggs, 6th round pick 2014, Broll.

To TOR: Edler, Mallet. Jensen, Lack,

Edler, Mallet. = Franson, Kulemin.

Jensen, Lack. = Biggs, 6th round pick, Boll.

We give them cap space so they can re-sign Kadri. Their top 6:

Kessel - Bozak - Lupul

JVR - Kadri - Clarkson

We take a RFA off their hands, they get a top 2/4 defensemen. Take Liles off their hands aswell. Broll and Biggs are big boys. Broll listed at 6'2 216 pounds. He lacks consistency and his nobility isn't great. That can be taught but size can not. Biggs is 6'2 210 pounds, first round pick 22nd overall in 2011 by the Leafs. Getting 2 big powerforwards that have a good potentials and we get depth on the backend.

Yeah, I think I'll take those guys out.

Broll is a prospect on the Leafs. 6th rounder, big body 6'2 216 pounds. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/

Talent Analysis

Broll was highly regarded coming out of midget hockey and it was anticipated that with his size and good hands he could be a big-time scoring power forward. A hard-working, two-way player, he has been a physical presence in his two years in the OHL but has not yet put up big scoring numbers and is a bit lacking mobility-wise. He uses his size to advantage and can handle the puck in small spaces but his limited skating ability and lack of consistency have limited his production to this point.

Sounds alot like Kassian.

no this is not a good deal were a trading a potential superstar in jensen for kulemin who isnt a proven superstar and why would we trade Edler hes one of our shutdown defenceman at times and has a great shot

trading kulemin for a 3rd and 7th rounder i would ask for a 1st rounder and a prospect

I think there is too much money in the D if this trade happened. This team would have troubles scoring in the playoffs and you're banking on Schroeder to become a 2nd line winger which is a long shot at this stage in his career.

also why would we trade lack in which we havent seen him perform in the nhl yet If he does good in the nhl in which i think he will, what would be the point of trading him for almost nothing???? i know he will perform good this year i just know it will happen

If you want Franson bad enough, make him an offer sheet for the max. a 2nd rounder would get as compensation....3.3mil? 3.5?

I cant find the updated compensation chart.

Garrison-Tanev

Hamhuis-Franson

Edler-Bieksa

Weber

Lets Corrado develop in Uttica with top minutes for an entire year
