Caboose
With the rising cap are we going to see stars such as Vanek for example (not tampering) demand 7-8 million a season?

Mongrel
Thank you for the opportunity to play. Although we are in 7th place I don't feel that we have a team that will fair very well in the playoffs. We are NOT rebuilding, we are retooling our team in an effort to get a bit younger with skilled players. No project players please. Jagr, Zetterberg, Fisher, Thornton, Stoll and Selanne are all being put on the trading block.

No way he goes for that cheap. He'll demand at least 2. Great signing Boston!
AriGold
Nail, can you confirm that this is how the playoffs will be done ? The top 3 teams from each Division will make the playoffs along with two wild card teams in each conference. The two teams with the highest point totals of the remaining teams in each Conference will earn the wild card playoff berths. Teams will accumulate points via their players, and at the end of the first round, the teams with the most points in each playoff bracket will advance to the second round, and so on, until a champion is crowned at the conclusion of the playoffs. You are right about the part about the teams getting in, but after that it'll be matches based off of seeding. 1st in the conference vs 2nd wild card, 2nd in conference vs 1st wildcard and then 2nd in each division vs 3rd in the same division. Whoever accumulates the most points in their matchup against the other team during the 1st round moves onto the 2nd round, where points will restart at 0. HowYaDrouin
I appreciate the leap of faith that it takes to bring in a GM with as little experience as I have; With that being said, The Anaheim Ducks are placing C Zac Rinaldo on LTIR; and recall C Joe Colborne from Kansas City.
