Nail
Thats a steal! Another good signing. Well he should only be getting normal backup time from now on unless something major happens to Crawford...

AriGold
The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to terms with the following unsigned free agents: Alex Broadhurst 3 years 700K Klas Dahlbeck 3 years 700K Joni Ortio 3 years 900K With no goalie prospects we are please to sign Joni Ortio, he is currently 16-4 with the Abbotsford Heat and might have a outside shot at a position within the Flames next year. Klas Dahlbeck is the 2nd best defenseman on the Blackhawks farm team the Ice Hogs right now. 22 points in 39 games, +4 with 26 pims thus far. He has great size at 6'2 200lbs and we are glad we could sign him. Alex Broadhurst is also a Blackhawks prospect who is in the top 6 as a Center, he currently have 20 points in 39 games. Nail
The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to resign pending UFA goaltender Brian Elliot. 1 year, 4.5M, LNTC (Would accept a trade to a top 10 overall team).

AriGold
The Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to resign pending UFA goaltender Brian Elliot. 1 year, 4.5M, LNTC (Would accept a trade to a top 10 overall team). Very glad Brian decided to re-sign. We didn't get the Antti Rannta deal we were hoping for and Brians agent was tough in negotiation. We started at around 2M and settled with 4.5M and a LNTC. With his future up the air next season we took a chance as we have the cap space. ( My guess is STL re-signs Halak and Elliot signs with EDM)

Caboose
Very good signing by Philly. Highly likely that Elliot is a starter elsewhere by next year.
AriGold
Very good signing by Philly. Highly likely that Elliot is a starter elsewhere by next year. If STL wants to sign Elliot over Halak then Jake Allen will get his time in the NHL next year and it will be a 1A, 1B IMO..
JE14
Very good signing by Philly. Highly likely that Elliot is a starter elsewhere by next year. I'm guessing he's wanting to trade him then? Unless we can have two starters.

Nail
That's all the resignings for tonight. If I haven't viewed your PM yet, don't worry as your resignings will hopefully be included in the next wave.
Caboose
I'm guessing he's wanting to trade him then? Unless we can have two starters. I'm guessing there is a grace period for goalies that have never been starters their entire careers, maybe one year to prove their worth. It's generally how it works IRL, look at Cory Schneider in Jersey.
AriGold
I'm guessing he's wanting to trade him then? Unless we can have two starters. I'm not sure of the rules on this.. Nail I guess you will need to explain how this will work ? Example is I'm signing Elliot assuming he will be a 1A or a 1B aka 35-40 games next season. I'm assuming Crawford will get 60-65 games. So in that Case Elliot isn't a starter... But then you look at teams like Colorado, who drafted his goalies well and next season he will have Schneider and Enroth as his goalies which will likely be BUFF and NJD starters. Nashville has Rask and Harding who are 2 of the top 8 goaltenders for wins this year. Vancouver has Holtby and Mason who are 2 of the top 17 goalies for wins this year... If a team has clear cut starters aka 60+ games then I can see a 2nd goalie asking for a trade.
Mongrel
The Phoenix Coyotes would like to wish Shawn and Antti much luck in the future with the Red Wings. We enjoyed their services here but we are moving this team in another direction and that means tough choices need to be made. With that being said we would like to welcome Mike Smith and Travis Moen to the team. We are expecting big things from both of them this season and in the future. The organization would also like to thank Caboose for his professionalism. He came in with an offer and we were very pleased with how things progressed.
