We have a trade to announce...

To CHI: Sergei Bobrovsky, Steve Ott, Connor Carrick

To FLA: Karri Ramo, TJ Brodie, Antoine Vermette, CHI 2014 1st Round Pick

The Blackhawks would like to thank Karri , Antoine and T.J. for their hard Work for the Organisation and wishes them all the best in Florida.

Welcome to Windy City Sergei , Steve and Connor.

With Bobrovsky we got the much needed Upgrade on the Goalie Position and now we could be back in the Run for a Playoff Spot.

Steve will replace Antoine in the Lineup . May Ott is a little Downgrade compared to Antoine , but he has some qualities that could help us in the Run for a Playoff Spot.

Connor is a young upcoming Defender who will jump into T.J. Spot. We are sure that he´ll be solid Top 4 Blueliner in the Next Years.

^^ The Wildcard Race in the West is pretty close. 1st Nashville and 6th Chicago seperates under 200 Points.

In the East it seems that 4 Teams are out. The Sabres as 6th are 290,5 Points behind the 2nd in the Wildcard race in the Eastern Conference.

This will be some exciting Weeks untill the Regular Season ends.

I'm not sure of the rules on this..

Nail I guess you will need to explain how this will work ? Example is I'm signing Elliot assuming he will be a 1A or a 1B aka 35-40 games next season. I'm assuming Crawford will get 60-65 games. So in that Case Elliot isn't a starter... But then you look at teams like Colorado, who drafted his goalies well and next season he will have Schneider and Enroth as his goalies which will likely be BUFF and NJD starters. Nashville has Rask and Harding who are 2 of the top 8 goaltenders for wins this year. Vancouver has Holtby and Mason who are 2 of the top 17 goalies for wins this year...

If a team has clear cut starters aka 60+ games then I can see a 2nd goalie asking for a trade.

Correct. I'm making the cutoff for starters 50-60+ games per year. Leaning more to 60.
