If you don't actually know the person, it's pretty stupid to make that kind of comment. Ask yourself, "Could I willingly say that to his face?" If the answer is 'no', it's a good indicator that it's not a logical assumption. That said, he can do what he wants if it's legal. If you disagree with trophy hunting, complain to the government.
