The Coach
This player has flown under the radar of the Canucks for a long time. His numbers are really good.. He was 6th overall in faceoff wins pct in 11-12 and also had the most shfow in the NHL with 169. He's big, has an impressive -14 rating over 419 gms played in a defensive role. 79 points totaled up giving him around .18 ppg. Boudreau had him brought into ANA to help lighten the load from Perry and Getzlaf and he got 6 pts in 21 gms... not too shabby but the youth of ANA has made it and his time to move out has come. He doesn't cost an arm and a leg, almost a veteran for the younger guys to watch and learn from and imo would anchor the 4th line. His pk skills would be great to have given the decline and eventual departure of Malhotra (faceoffs) and Lapierre's absence. Steckel 1m per season on 4 yr deal is what I'd offer...upto 1.3 if I had to. Plum
If he was signed he would be depth or Utica. Sedin Kesler Gaunce/Schroeder/Horvat Richardson Santortelli/Steckel Mallet Our C depth is somewhat strong wouldn't mind adding him on a two way with 50k in Utica. a Fool
100% agree with this. Been saying it for months. The Nux need a stud faceoff guy badly. Richardson plays LW also so it'd be: Richardson - Steckel - Weise

The Coach
Richardson is a rw that can play C... . Depth at this spot is needed... true his wheels arent the best but his FO skills are top notch and his defensive game is solid mentally. We have a lot of upcoming talent...but we need a guy that can win them now and play now. Having a solid pk is really going to help this year as I think we may see more minutes than in the past. Remember Kes getting hurt right after coho being moved? Win the draws....win the games.
