Warhippy
Kinda shocked watching DeChamplain drop em with big Mark Bell today. Maillett didn't look bad either nor did Johnston. I guess we are finally heading into hockey season!!!
TOMapleLaughs
Read Mallet at first. 'Wtf?' Then 'oh okay.'
The Lock
Is that Maillet guy Mallet or someone else? k after seeing a couple of new posts I'm assuming someone else. lol

kazin!
I thought both Maillet and Johnston played a good game against the Oilers. Such is Canadian hockey...you can be extremely skilled but you need to be in that upper echelon of skill to even have a sniff.
Crimson-JH
Maillet did pretty good against the Oilers, Mallet did okay... I think? It was confusing
a Fool
These cuts brought to you by West-Van Circumcision with over 35,000 preformed so far.
Phamda
Tough for Franson, he didn't really get played with any "good" prospects and only had decent games. I still like him though, think he should get a contract, maybe even just an AHL one
Drouin
Sucks for Johnston & Franson as they didn't play too bad.
wshdrvvn
so of the invites elliot, hall, hope, mychan remain. thought johnston was good as well but with guimond playing as well as he did, i think they want to give him a longer look against pros and see what some of these forwards can do. i think i would have liked to see franson or maillet kept over elliot, though franson wasn't particularly exceptional. Also, neither of them brought the size or physicality elliot did. but i'm interested to see all three of hope, hall, and especially mychan at camp. Plum
Good choices. Everyone here wasn't keeping up with the rest and that is why they are gone, hopefully we sign Mychan, Hope. These 2 have shown that they can keep up with the rest.
canucksnihilist
a lot of decisions have already been made - it wouldn't have mattered if they had played like wayne gretzky - the first round picks are going to be the priority here, the rest can prove themselves more in the minors before getting another sniff. the first rounders get a sniff at the beginning of every year
DeltaSwede
Wouldn't have minded seeing Johnston get some more looks, thought he played pretty well. Maillet - too small De Champlain - out performed Franson - unimpressive

Kryten
Johnston is a young guy who shows a lot of skill but he made far too many bone-headed plays to really be considered. The game is too fast for him now, give him a couple years though and I think he could greatly improve.
