If they don't want to do this then we'll screw em over like this: Option 2. Offer sheet Kadri for 5 million per. This OR we can do this in scenario 3! Option 3. This is a bit complicated so let me tell you how we do this. We are going to offer sheet Kadri for 5,046,580 this way we are only giving up a 1st and a 3rd and if they decide to match the offer sheet, we go after Franson for 1 million. This way we either get Kadri for 5 million, 1st and a 3rd, or we get Franson for 1 million. A very good strategy to get Franson for cheap or just to screw the Leafs.
