Tort's to push conditioning! Players watch out for groin pulls!

Here's a Tort's quote from the Sun.:

“We are going to go about our business like we always do,” he said. “There is going to be quite a bit of conditioning. It’s something we can control. There are a lot of things you can’t control. So we are going to push as far as that is concerned.”

Conditioning is great but,

Players please beware of those early season groin pulls that seem to plague the league these days,We have had our share the last few years.

There is more to conditioning than just working hard. Complete fitness includes injury prevention, such as stretching and strengthening weaker muscle groups so you don't end up with muscle imbalances. I'm sure the trainers are all over this. Besides, crappy rutted up ice is more of a concern than an hour of wind sprints.
