-Alex Burrows scores 40 goals

-Flames miss the playoffs on the final day of the season due to a shoot out loss.

-Devin Dubnyk wins the Vezina

Gaunce makes the team, and scores 82 points in Linden like fashion. But still loses the Calder to Drouin.

Booth starts out the season on fire. Scores 18 goals in the first 14 games. Game 15 against the Leafs, after scoring a hat-trick putting him to 21 goals, he goes to check Mason Raymond into the boards, Raymond avoids him. Booth smashes awkwardly into the boards and falls on the ice, breaking his leg, bending his knee backwards, ending his career.

Canuck fans blame Raymond for the next half-century.

Pavel Bure at his retirement ceremony simply says. "Most of the fans here are great. But some of you need to get a life."

Luongo struggles, Lack starts season with .940 save percentage, and 0.90 GAA. Torts tell the media to "Shove it there's no Goalie problem. Lack is our guy...." Gillis starts drinking 4 bottles of Scotch a day after that statement. But suddenly looks 10 years younger.

Gillis trades Edler to NYI for Hamonic, de Haan and a 1st.

In a drunken stupor, and for some reason the Sedin's agree. Gillis manages to trade the Sedins and Andersson to Dallas for Tyler Seguin and Jaime Benn and Connauton. Canucks miss the playoffs. Dallas wins the Stanley Cup.

Gillis is fired at the end of the season for buying out Luongo.

New GM Brendan Shanahan has Gillman as his assistant. Uses the two first rounders to get Ekblad, and Nick Ritchie.

Canucks win the Cup in 2015, Shanahan gets all the credit.
