Is V2 better?

i would still play around with some filters and desaturated it just a little bit. pastel gradient maps are a nice subtle touch if you use the right gradient to complement the sig then add a b/w gradient map and set it to soft light at, say 75% to really bring out the shadows and the water along with your background and give it that slick movie poster type finish

i took your version 1 and added a little touch

you dont even have to sweat text. sometimes less is more. for this one there's really not too much room to make it work

I disagree with it needing text. In my opinion there isn't really a place for text in this based on the style you used and the focal point created by the render. To add on to what TS said, try adding a curves layer and play around with a brightness/contrast layer.

Would you share the psd? :)

Damn, that looks a lot better. I did use some gradient maps, but only 3 of them at very low %

I've never used a curves layer before. I'll try it out. Thanks

Here you go. The PSD is a bit messy, a few unused and invisible layers

Here's what I came up with.

I added a curves layer for brightness and bumped up the contrast. A blue lighting layer and a white one along with some burn/dodge.
