Playoff and offseason proposal

Recommended Posts

Another key proposal GMMG should take a sneak at.

RIGHT now, not at the deadline

To Buf

Brendan Gaunce

Frankie Corrado

3rd (2015)

To Van

1st

Fact is you all have your hopes way to high on Corrado. And Gaunce. Buffalo wants prospects and we want a speedy rework according to gillis.

Buffalo knows not all first rounders make it, in fact most dont. But they get two people they could work into their rebuilding line up and we get a high end (maybe top 5) prospect and make a stronger prospect pool.

At deadline, waive Booth.

Trade to CBJ

Jannik Hansen

Zac Dalpe

to Van

Ryan Johansen

Pretty much,

Sedin Sedin Kesler

Burrows Johansen Kassian

Higgins Santorelli Jensen

Weise Richardson Sestito

Hamhuis Bieksa

Garrison Edler

Tanev Stanton

Luo

And since buffalo more likely than not tanks the year, we get either Reinhart, Ritchie, Bennett, Ekblad or Nylander.

If Buffalo is "tanking" as you say, why on earth would they give you their potential Top 5 pick? They're in need of a young star, Gaunce and Corrado are good but are not going to be stars. Not even close in terms of value. Just stop trolling

One DOESN'T, simply, trade AWAY, DAC ZALPE!! You've fallen down a rabbit hole!

Other than that, your proposals are pure poetry.

Lol some of u guys are cruel! The first trade is an admirable attempt at getting a top 5 guy at the draft. Top 5 guys are hard to get, and I very much doubt buffalo does this. Switching the 3rd to a first makes it closer, and I'm sure they would think about it, but still doubtful. The 2nd trade is pretty brutal mainly because Dalpe is useless, at least at this point, and Hansen is decent but only a 3rd line guy. Johansen on the other hand, is an incredible young player with a very high ceiling for success. Don't get discouraged by the above comments

So, you're saying Buffalo is smarter than us?

If they know most picks don't make the NHL, then I'd think we do as well. In that case we'd prefer to keep the prospects we have that have shown they can be NHL players (Corrado at least is all but a guarantee) rather than trade for picks.

Or are you saying they're dumber than us?

If they think they'll tank then why would they not keep their first rounder and get one of those players. If they're so good that we'd trade one near NHL'er, one solid prospect and one pick to get a chance at them, then they'd likely keep the pick.
