Panthers owners have stepped in and told GM gmen81 that they don't want him making any moves that builds for the future. Ownership wants playoff revenue and they feel that this team can make the playoffs with its current core.

Lol just kidding, I'm still trying to figure out what's best for my team.

St. Louis Blues will not sell this deadline, nor will they make anymore trades leading up to it. It's a shame that after acquiring Stewart, nothing has changed. It's not that Stewart hasn't produced at all, but rather, consistency from both lines is something that's lacking. Either the 1st line scores one night, or the 2nd line scores another.

There's still a chance the Blues make the playoffs, but that hope is quickly slipping away. However, the production from players such as Stoll, Schwartz, Granlund, Grabner, have all been above their average this season. It's safe to say there is a lot to look forward to, and rather than changing the identity of the team, we'll stand pat and hope better for next season if we happen to miss the playoffs.

Hanzal could be had around draft day, so keep that in mind for anyone who's interested, as there's a good chance I give Boyko that 3rd line position next season, but that's not a guarantee, so Hanzal won't be moved unless the right offer comes along. He won't be traded before deadline either, so you can cross that off.

Lost out on Nash to my divisional rival, so it looks like I need to play catchup.

Already made one move in bringing in Hanzal, looking to make one more splash prior to the deadline.

That being said, the following players can be had

Damien Brunner ($1,600,000 cap, 80 scoring) - can be had for a draft pick

Adam McQuaid ($1,400,000 cap, 82 CK, 79 DF) - can be had for a draft pick

Jared Boll ($600,000 cap) - can be had for a draft pick

Alexander Burmistrov - can be had for a youth package (does not need to be 2016 picks)
