TheRussianRocket.
Happy to know Dale Hunter is given the honour as Coach of the Year and Jakub Vrana runner up for the Calder. Congrats to all the candidates in those categories. Great to know there is some publicized recognition of success here in San Jose. And STHS aside, in RL I personally have Dale Hunter as one of the most knowledgable+ranked coaches in the world (personally think he's in the top 10 right now). He is just terrific and his short one year stint in Washington, he showed he wouldn't give anyone a pass and has coached 10+ years and still is with the London Knights, turning that program into one of the best in NA. Really think he's a guy who deserves a lot more credit than he gets...just look at the guys he's developed there. Unbelievable...
TheRussianRocket.
Noteable NHL drafted via Dale Hunter and the London Knights program: Horvat, Domi, Zadarov, Maatta, Tierney, Namestnikov, Knight, Tavares, Kadri, Patty Kane, Gagner, Steve Mason, Bolland, Prust, Perry, Quincey, Methot, Nash, Wideman, Kelly. That's probably one of the best if not the best the past 10 years...you want NHLers, make sure they're coming from London when you pick them ...and hey, guess who's got Horvat? (he's actually going to be a stud though)
