SOB for MVP
Going to run a little poll here about the STHS World Championships. A few questions to address 1. How many teams should be in it? 14 would be the amount of GMs not in the playoffs, but as for formatting I dont think a 14 team pool would work, so it would either be 12 or 16 teams, with 4 teams per pool. Im sure two playoff GMs would be willing to run a team as well, gets more people involved. Only problem would be filling teams of lesser countries. 2. How do you want teams in it to be determined (this applies to countries such as Austria, Norway, Slovenia, Germany, Belarus, Latvia, Denmark, France). This could either be done via league voting, or I could do a mini qualification tournament with STHS. Thoughts?

susraiders
My personal opinion would be to have a 12 team tournament with 3 groups of 4 with the top two advancing and the two third places with the most points advance as well. As for which teams make it, I'd say which ever countries have the most players within the STHS system.
canucklax
1. 12 teams. Leaves wiggle room if 2 guys are busy, or can co-gm a team with someone. 2.Vote, but may want to use countries with most guys in system

Caboose
I doubt we can get 12 non playoff guys do to do it, especially with the countries that don't have many NHLers

Go Faulk Yourself
Boyko, Olynek, and Shattock all have unfortunately missed the cut and have been reassigned down to Peoria (AHL). Doesn't mean they won't see any time this season however.
