Utica Fan
Kalamazoo to Utica is not too bad of a drive (weather permitting). Comets are off until Tuesday. Doable drive in less than 8 hrs. Blomstrand AND Fox can carpool...lol
canucklehead44
27 games in Fox was at 12 points and I believe 6 goals. That means he has scored 13 goals in his last 19 games, now leading the team and putting up respectable numbers. Great to see him turn it around! elvis15
With Jensen called up and Friesen sick the Comets played with only 11 forwards last night. Time to call Fox up and see what he can do. Jensen's back now, but having Fox get a shot at the higher level would be good. He needs to see how his speed and play stack up against better competition, and if he can keep his current hot streak going at that level. Imagine him on a line in the NHL with Kenins and Cassels (or even Gaunce) if he can continue this form.

Great to see him turn it around! he's now the leading goal scorer on the team and second in points. Was he injured earlier this season? I've been watching his stats all year and have noticed them jump rapidly in the past 2 months.
avelanch
i thought he had a minor injury somewhere mid-season, but that was only for a game or 2. i think his pickup is just his getting used to a pro game and acclimated to the league. I imagine you'll see a similar pattern if/when he migrates to the AHL.

JamesB
Fox gets his 20th of the season. Nice to see that. Getting 20 goals in a professional minor league (even the ECHL instead of the AHL) is an accomplishment and Fox seems to have been much better in the second half of the year. Now that he has his 20 goals with the K-Wings I am hoping to see him called up by Utica. (Utica could use a boost right now. Losing Markstrom, Kennins and Biega seems to have hurt them, not surprisingly.) But the K-Wings are battling for a playoff spot so maybe Fox would like to stay there for now anyway for now and get promoted to Utica for next season. people please
22 goals for Fox now,we need to give our young guys a chance and not make guys like Jensen a healthy scratch. When Tampa won they actually gave prospects big time minutes.
