[Trade] Ryan Miller and Steve Ott to St.Louis

Recommended Posts

You obviously have never watched Miller play.

Yea okay obviously you havent watched Elliot and Halak play if you think that Miller is worth trading for. The blues did not lose last year because of Halak or Elliot they faced a team that was equal to them and either one of them most likely would of won the cup had they not met each other and bashed each other up before the finals.

And they still want MORE! They want to get rid of Ehrhoff.

16 picks in the first 3 rounds since 2011. Have 10 picks in the first 2 rounds in 2014 and 2015 and can flip Moulson and Stewart each respectively for a minimum of a 1st round pick each. Factor in possibly trading ehrhoff as well and f me running this team is so disgustingly deep in picks/prospects by the end of next seasons draft that in 5 years they're going to be disturbingly good.

Because when you are picking up THAT many picks in the first 3 rounds you're going to get a solid few 1st rounders, a few gems in the 2nd round and almost HAVE to find a good 3rd round pick or two as well.

Seriously....wow

He carried the USA in the Olympics around the same time as Halak's run.

Halak almost carried Slovakia to the gold medal game, a team that had what 4 NHL players?

Miller went to the Eastern finals to....

:picard:

The Sabres were a team that were dominating the regular season and were expected to be in the finals and could never get the job done and I recall that during that time Miller was less than spectacular in front of a stacked Sabres team.

No he is not. Miller has done nothing in the playoffs. Halak has carried a terrible team to the eastern finals.

Halak is better than Miller because he had 1 good season in the playoffs before getting shelled and benched in the ECF? By this logic Michael Leighton is a great goalie simply because he achieved more that Halak in 1 season

The Blues look even better now. But still the Canucks have the Blues number even with Ott and Miller.

lol all 3 of those games could have easily gone the other way, yes we're 3-0 against them but we hardly have their number.

lol look at the numbers Miller has put up playing on the absolute worst team in the league, his numbers are going to be absolutely insane playing behind St Louis.

So going to the Eastern finals on a good team means that he has done nothing in the playoffs?

I guess Marc Andre Fleury has done nothing in the playoffs, his stacked team won the cup.

Your logic is mentally challenged.

they aren't us, so they'll be ok

oh really didn't realize they have a crystal ball like a lot of you seem to have saying they are ahead of us in terms of being closer to a cup

they were good because of Miller now the safety net is gone Halak won't be providing the same kind of goaltending and Enroth won't either
