There are 3 certainties in life; Death, Taxes and the fact NHL expansion is coming soon. Gary Bettman on expansion today: “There’s a lot of interest. We’re hearing from multiple groups in Seattle, … in Vegas, in Kansas City, in Quebec City. We haven’t decided to engage in a formal expansion process, but as we always do, we listen to expressions of interest. … There may be good reasons to expand.”

Congrats to Stars coach Lindy Ruff on his 600th NHL coaching win, fittingly against the Sabres! Ruff is just the 12th coach to reach 600 wins in league history! The only active coaches with more are Joel Quenneville (693) & Ken Hitchcock (621). Scotty Bowman holds the all-time record of coaching 1,244 NHL wins!
