Still think Kes gets moved?

Maybe someone could insert a poll, get some concensus for fun.

Now that Lou has been moved ( good Luck BTW ), what are the chances GMMG makes another bold move or deferrs back to his usual rhetoric...'nothing made sense'.. trades are hard to do, blah, blah, blah.

I would be shocked if Kes got moved just because GMMG has never ventured into this type of deal before.

Please creat poll, here:

In all honesty, I'm scared of Gillis making this deal. For this team to have a quick turn-around, Kesler probably needs to be moved at this point. It's more or less the defining moment in the fortunes of this hockey club for the next few years.

If we get significant return, trading Kesler could reboot the entire franchise in a really big way. If Gillis botches this trade, as I've said before, we will more or less end up being like the Flames of the last 5-6 years. Never good enough to make the playoffs, but never bad enough to get the lottery picks, thus languishing in no-man's land for years on end.

This is a pivotal moment in this club's future.

>> There is a growing suspicion within the Penguins that Gillis may not be authorized by Vancouver ownership to move Kesler. That seems to be a new development on Wednesday.

>> The Penguins do not think for a minute that the Flyers, as had been reported by some national outlets, are out of the running for Kesler. They expect a strong push, perhaps in the final hours before the deadline. @Rob Rossi

That would be stupid of the organization.......even Gretzky was traded why should kesler who wants to be traded be untouchable? Stupid and I don't believe it.

It makes zero sence to trade Kesler today, we will get a much greater return if we wait until draft to move him. Right now the only teams interested are cupcontending teams. Their offers will only consist of picks and prospects Rosters players are too risky to give away and disrupt team chemistry If we wait until summer the teams interested grows and so does our offers coming in. We'd have a full out bidding war for him.

We'd also know where this team is at moving forward, We'd also bascially know what the true value of the picks being offered are. know exactly who picks where, who's we've slotted to be picked at each selection. We could also get a current roster player as teams. Doesn't make sence to move Kesler today.
