Shamu101
With the deals that Gillis made(most significant the Lu trade) , I honestly think we will be pushing for a playoff spot. We have two spectacular goaltenders in Lack n Markstrom. Especially looking at the standings right now. Dallas lossed in their last game even though they have a couple games in hand. If we win against them tomorrow we could get in a groove especially getting a centerman thats capable of scoring goals and can catch on fire like last season. markstrom is also another great pick up. Hes 6 foot 6 just like our former goaltender. he posts some great numbers as well in the AHL. BanTSN
Matthias is more of a checker than a scorer. He helps, but playoffs? Considering the epic Sedin droughtm all the injuries and the desire for key players wanting out, getting into the playoffs would take a considerable effort. And then what? We would be better off not winning a single game going forward this season.

Jack Fig
The Canucks are going to miss the playoffs by at least 10 points. Aquaman's hope of seeing some playoff revenue is laughable.
DeNiro
We would have to have a miraculous turnaround and have all our forwards start scoring in bushel fulls. Normally I'd be optimistic about it, but their body language an lack of intensity on the ice makes it hard to believe.

If Daniel can't score, I think Torts should split them up and let them both be playmakers. Reunite them on the powerplay when the cycle actually has a chance at working. EmilyM
It'd be nice if we called up Jensen and he started ripping up the scoresheet every game I don't get why so many people want to rush Jensen into the lineup right away. He JUST started finding his game in Utica about a month ago. Why throw him in to a team where he'll get no help and completely destroy any confidence he was gaining? Let the kid develop this year. TimberWolf
I'd rather miss the playoffs this season, get a good draft, than get killed in the first round.n I'd rather get killed in the playoffs. A bad chance is better than no chance at all. A goalie can get hot, something can click and a run can happen. Maybe some favorable match ups and other upsets happen and the way gets paved. Unlikely but impossible without a playoff spot. (though I don't think we'll make it anyways this year so moot point)
