Ten years ago yesterday this happened

Philly seems have a bunch of those yearly. If Canucks were anything like that, would be labelled as the dirtiest team out there but this doesn't count cause it's Flyers hockey lol. Nothing against it, live that tough style of hockey, just laughing at if Canucks did if what name they'd have lol.

Most people do consider the Flyers to be the dirtiest team in the NHL haha.

You are right though not to the extent of the Sens brawl but the Flyers do seem to have at least 1 line brawl a year.

In fact not just them even the AHL team the Phantoms do it all the time. They actually just had one in Feb.

Sestito is in the one below for his fans.

What about the local little league? (this is actually fairly intense)

Then a more iconic AHL moment 5:38 when Neil Little flips into the pile xD

But yeah it runs through all things tied to the Flyers.

Ten years ago a day after tomorrow, this happened: (Mar 8, 2004)

Hockey was far more interesting in those days.

I strongly strongly dislike that play, but I also believe he should've fought Bert. I think after that he would've been largely left alone. But it was a disgusting play by one of my favourite players. Sad day in Canucks history, one of many.

I strongly strongly dislike the result. Moore pussed out and chose not to fight Cooke, where the scrap would have been a draw, Ruutu, a draw, then Bert, advantage Bert for sure. He wimped out on all occasions and frustration took over.

I never blamed either Bert or Moore specifically for what happened that night, they are both at fault. Things could have turned out differently if he had just manned up and dropped the mitts like a big boy.

This incident will forever be a pock mark on the league, on Bertuzzi, and on the Canucks. I can think of several incidents per year that have the potential to reach this kind of unfortunate result, yet this specific one did, and only after a specific coincidence of events.

I truly have empathy for Moore and hope he gets enough money to live his life and do whatever it is he feels he needs to do. Who exactly is at fault though. Partially Bert for sure, but he should sue himself for lacing up the skates that day and not dropping the gloves like a man in the first period while he is at it.

Lots of people to blame for the Bertuzzi-Moore incident.

Moore should have answered the bell for cheap-shotting the other team's captain and league-leading goal scorer. He should have known better, and someone older on his team should probably have told him that. He could have avoided a lot of it by fighting Cooke, or Ruutu, or May.

Bertuzzi obviously was at fault. Took things way to far, and didn't know his own strength.

What the hell Moore was doing still on the ice at that point with a blowout score is beyond me. No idea why the coach even let him sit on the bench. The Canucks had been chasing Moore around all game. The coach put Moore in a terrible position. Lots of blame there, too.

If Moore could take a punch, none of what happened would have happened. K, I'm not totally serious, but it holds meaning. All the players piling on is what did the damage.

Expansion is also to blame. Moore never should have been in the NHL.

Fun fact: If I remember correctly, 6 months from now, Steve Moores lawsuit is finally going to trial
