*Buzzsaw*
Sorry, but its now crystal clear. Kassian is a lazy, selfish, one dimensional player, with no defensive skills, no interest in improving his team play, a cheapshot bully, who won't fight straight up, and who adds to the reputation of the Canucks as dirty play artists. He has no judgement, it's not like he is intimidating, like a Lucic, someone we might have hoped he'd turn into... no Kassian is not frightening to the other team's, they don't back off in the goalcrease, they don't back off in the post whistle scrums... Kassian is not respected by anyone in the league. He doesn't hit, except when he thinks he can get away with a cheapshot, he doesn't take the puck to the net, he doesn't have the guts to put his body on the line. This guy is a cancer, and would be best traded as soon as possible for someone who will stand up and actually play a straight ahead power game. apollo
That hit wasn't bad. It was a lame call for a soft post lockout era NHL. Back in the good old days players had accountability and wouldn't turn into he boards and make them self so vulnerable. Kass is a beauty get over it. It's a blow out loss, he's angry and he does something dumb like all emotional guys who are frustrated do. I wouldn't look at this any deeper than this. B00MER
Didn't watch the game tonight? Was he that bad? But yea, he's been a disappointment. Playing like a playmaker when we need a power forward to drive the net.

Playing like a playmaker when we need a power forward to drive the net. Doesn't help when our Bostonian coach doesn't give him a chance to play. He has a terrific shooting percentage yet doesn't get much ice time. Coach plays favourite and runs our stars into the ground.

Again, its one of the Hodgson guys who staked their reputations on the trade being a ripoff. So they come out of the closet to troll the rest of the fanbase every time the guy screws up. Even 2 years after the trade. To me this is obvious trolling and I wouldnt allow it.

Darkstar
Kassian is a beauty. He'll be a great bottom six forward on this team.
tortorellatheboss
What makes you so sure he's a "cancer"? He seems humble and polite in every interview I've seen. He's not been great, but he's shown flashes of greatness (like the early part of last year). Wouldn't give up on him yet, he's only
Bissurnette
some harsh words there. Could it be you're just mad at the team result tonight?

westsideconnect
I've gotta disagree with the OP here. If a few more guys had stepped up and acted a little more like Kassian the Canucks would've shown they are a tough team and will stick together. Would've been a real "moral victory" tonight. .......... ...........
JiffyPB
Typical CDC. Need a whipping boy and ZACK KASSIAN is the guy to go after ???? Not even MG, Torts, or EDLER?????? Considering the guy outscored our entire 1st line this calender year in only January, he is not where the blame should REMOTELY go.
puckluv
Kassian follows orders. When he first came to the team they got him into ultimate fighting training. I don't think he is the smartest but I do think he is a product of what coaching has done with him.
Herberts Vasiljevs
I think Kassian has looked good this year (not at all a negative), but it's been said time and time again, if Kassian continues to play lazy defensive hockey, then Torts will not give him consistent top-6 minutes. I don't blame Torts, it HAS to be understood. He's on the right course of development though. It's really is a process. That misconduct was unfair though. Dillon should have been more aware of what was coming. There was a battle along the boards, and Dillon, oblivious to his surrounding, turns around and that's the end result. Dillon put his own self in danger. One could argue that Kassian could of let up at the last second, but he was already braced to make the hit, but when Dillon turned at that instant, that's what indued. So, you say it "needs to be said"???? Does it? Does it NEED to be said? Set in stone? Cased closed? Eat it troll.
