Nice try MG. Reset.. It's nice that Canada has so many young talents. Just have to get over this unfounded loyalty to the city and then the sky is clear. Besides what's canucks anyway, team sweden? JeremyCuddles
Didn't you post this exact same line in another thread? I was 10-11 when I became a fan of Van which is early 2000's. Don't know if it was ever this bad as I don't live in the past.

drummer4now
Honestly we traded away two goaltenders.. Not like we blew up the whole team. Our goaltending is still better than some current playoff teams that have subpar goaltending. If we couldn't win with two star goaltenders before how would today be any different? A change was needed. The only thing I hate is the fact if we didn't do it a year ago with the shorten season.
the grinder
at least in the messier era we didn't have 2 rookie goalies when we still had a chance at the playoffs what a stupid time to trade lou that trade could of happened in the summer and now no chance of getting any help way to blow it gillis
spliced
It's true, hopefully the team can get some fresh exciting young talent soon to make the losses more tolerable.
Kooly89
bad times? What bad times or dark ages of the Canucks? It's more like no time The Canuck's organization can stockup on some of the best talents onto this team tomorrow and it will not go anywhere tomorrow or next year or the year after. And which player wants to come here and play for the organization anyways? Sure maybe money will lure them here and play, but just play and parade around ice but that's about it. I think this organization has made it very bold that we will pay for you to get here, pamper you for a day or two, use you, abuse you, and if we don't like you we will trash you whenever we want to. Ummm... excuse me, but I don't think some of the players give a flying crap how much money the Aqua's are sitting on but NO THANKS? It's all about loyalty and respect, plain and simple. Once the management and the owners show some respect and loyalty to the players who are playing for them, maybe just maybe this team will start to show abit of life oneday. Period! P.S. funny thing is the CAnucks Organization showed how money hungry they are and it's all about business. ummm... how about business 101? A great company is consisted of dedicated and loyal employees? And how do you get that?

Tangerines
tangerine is probably like 25 lol 36 actually. I don't remember too much of the 1982 cup run, but after that the mid-late 80's team was horrid until we got Linden, and Bure.
Phil_314
If/ WHEN the Sedins and Burr find their scoring touch again, or even if guys like Kes, Higgins, Kassian, Hansen, Dalpe and the D step up once in awhile to score by committee then you'd see how premature this post is. Heck, Lack can keep them in games, they just need to help him out up front. Some changes (i.e. getting younger kids and finding some more scoring) and they'd be able to rebound from this regression. Honestly speaking though, I've never seen so many top players get snake-bit collectively for so long a time.
